Providing Premiere Support
The term “Employment”, “Contractor”, “Agent”, “CSP” and any other agent work title on this website or documents refers to a 1099 Independent Contract Relationship. Arise/GPS does not come into W-2 Employment Relationships.
Agents of GPS are required to sign an Independent Contract Agreement and W-9 Form when they get to Step 13 and before they receive payment. IRS requires that a W-9 Form is signed if an Independent Contractor receives more than $600 (personal)/$1000 (corporation) in a calendar year.
Agents agree to complete the GPS Step 3 Interview and Orientation and fully understand and will comply with GPS policies and mission to serve clients with quality and professionalism (Please read here if you have not already done so: https://globalpresence.solutions/interview).
Agents shall be deemed an Independent Contractor (IC) and are not an employee, partner, agent, or engaged in a joint venture with Global Presence Solutions LLC or Global Presence Enterprises LLC or any DBA. That both Arise and GPS receive income to operate through this partnership by charging monthly fees as listed here: https://globalpresence.solutions/investment.
Consistent with the foregoing, Global Presence Solutions LLC or any DBA of Global Presence Enterprises LLC shall not deduct withholding taxes, FICA or any other taxes required to be deducted by an employer. I acknowledge it is my responsibility to pay taxes and manage business deductions as an Independent Contractor. GPS recommends professional tax advisor or online software like Turbotax to help guide you in the process.
Agents acknowledge that they shall not be entitled to any fringe benefits, pension, retirement, profit sharing or any other benefits accruing to employees.
Agents acknowledge that as an Independent Contractor they have complete freedom to contract with the company of my choice, choose their work schedule and use the best means to fulfill the project(s) they have been contracted for.
Agents acknowledge they will not be paid as a W-2 Employees for training, but as a Customer Service/Support/Sales Professional only when they service clients on the phone during and after the course certification. Agents assume full financial and professional responsibility to utilize their skills and seek the proper certification training by an Independent Trainer Contracted by Arise Virtual Solutions LLC and the Client Company.
Both parties reserve the right to terminate or void any work relationship/partnership at any time with written/email notification. The relationship is completely “at will”
